Norby Community Newsletter – No. 30

Hey Norby Community,

We're back! Happy new year to you and hope you had a safe and relaxing holiday break. Also, a quick welcome 👋 to everyone new to our community! We've got some exciting plans for 2022 that we can't wait to share with you. Let’s get into it!

⭐ Shape Shifter 🟠

Take your link in bio customization to the next level with custom shapes for your avatar! Use the Creator-style header block and choose from 9 custom shapes to add some ✨ pizazz 💥 to your landing pages.

🌈 It’s all gradient, baby 🔮

That's not the only new thing you'll find when you create a new header block – you can now set your header block to have a transparent, image, solid color, or gradient background. Try it out with the new avatar shapes to get some really cool effects!

🗃️ Cards On The Table 💾

If you find yourself copying and pasting brand styles over and over again, this one's for you: you can now add additional custom styles to your Norby theme and save them for easy reuse! We've also revamped our theme editor to make it easier to navigate.

Head over to the Appearance section of your dashboard and in addition to customizing your default card style, add some additional styles and save them. The next time you're creating an event, link, signup, or newsletter, you can easily apply those settings with the tap of a button.

👁️ Grab Bag ⏲️

Here are a few other things you can do with this week's release:

  • Add a social preview image to your landing pages to make them look great everywhere. The image you choose will be used when your landing page URL is shared on social or in chat apps like iMessage.
  • Spice up your newsletter signup blocks by adding images. If you add more than one, your images will be shown in a gallery users can tap through.
